NO WOLDS RUN IN 2008 (Maybe back in 2009!)
Such has been the success of the Lincolnshire Wolds Run that it has grown so large that organisers Julie and Malc Wheeler have had to call a halt to the charity fundraiser.
With almost 600 bikes taking part in 2007, potential safety issues became apparent and sadly the Wolds Run will not take place this year.
Organiser Julie Wheeler said: “With some regret Malc and I have decided that it is no longer possible to continue with the run. The support we have had over the last nine years has been fantastic, but the event is a victim of its own success. We would like to thank everybody who has supported us; in the last three years alone we have raised over £25,000 for the Lymphoma Association, and we couldn’t have done it without such great support.”

2007 Run News
A BIG thank you to everyone who attended the massive 2007 Wolds Run!
"Almost 600 motorcycles, scooters and three-wheelers took part in the annual Wolds Run from our Morton Way offices on Sunday morning.
Over £10,000 (including a fantastic £2,000 donation from Camelot PLC) was raised for the Lymphoma Association on the day thanks to the efforts of Malcolm and Julie Wheeler and a small army of helpers who played their part in making this one of the biggest bike runs in the UK." ....MORE
